Daniel Celidore

Daniel Celidore - oboist, studied with Jay Light, James Caldwell, John DeLancie, Wayne Rapier, and Jean Stevens. Daniel studied at Oberlin Conservatory and at Sonoma State University. He is a founding member of Nota Bene and the Coastal Winds. He actively coaches the oboes of Analy High School. He is adjunct oboe instructor for Santa Rosa Junior College, and has taught oboe for Sonoma State University. He performed with the American Philharmonic for 7 years. He recently appeared as soloist with the American Philharmonic, soloist with the St Helena Chamber Singers, and in concert with Nota Bene and the Coastal Winds. He is on the board of the Occidental Center for the Arts. Daniel conducts the local American Recorder Society chapter and teaches children recorder. He teaches oboe privately in Sebastopol and in Santa Rosa. His students perform with the Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Orchestra, Discovery Orchestra, Prep Orchestra, and the San Francisco Youth Orchestra. Some students have attended major conservatories and are now actively engaged as professional musicians.
